In January 2024, the Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council named Syook among the first four companies to receive its Technology Development Grant (TDG), alongside Karty LLC, Qatar Navigation (Milaha), and Cytomate.
Part of the QRDI 2030 strategy, the TDG program supports locally executed research and development with grants of up to QAR 10 million, strengthening Qatar's innovation ecosystem and encouraging greater private sector investment in technology.
For Syook, the grant accelerates its work in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), advancing safety and operational efficiency in industrial environments across Qatar and the region, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
"We at Syook are immensely thankful to the QRDI Council for awarding us the Technology Development Grant. This grant will significantly accelerate our journey towards innovations in the Industrial Internet of Things, enhancing safety and operational efficiency in industrial environments, not just in Qatar but globally,"- Arjun Nagarajan, CEO of Syook.
